GenMD is a Stanford spin-off building AI and data infrastructure for healthcare. The company works with health systems and data partners on large longitudinal datasets, including claims, health records, imaging, and clinical notes, making data usable for researchers and frontier AI while protecting patient privacy. GenMD is emerging from stealth, is revenue-generating and well funded, and operates as a small, fast-moving team. The MBA Intern will work directly with GenMD’s founders on the company’s commercial strategy. The role focuses on how health systems and data providers partner with GenMD, how researchers and AI teams obtain access, and how the company grows Healthcare Datahub. It is a high-ownership position with tangible deliverables. The intern may work on go-to-market strategy for health systems and data providers, academic researchers, or frontier AI teams; pricing and packaging for data access and partnerships; market and competitor analysis to inform product and sales plans; and partnership pipeline development, including prospecting, preparing materials, and joining partner and customer conversations. The position is part-time during the academic term or full-time over the summer, with a flexible start date. Compensation is $40–$55 per hour.
