About The Position
Applications are invited for a CFS-track professional (teaching) faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at Brigham Young University, beginning in August 2027. Starting rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The department has a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Candidates will be evaluated based on evidence of excellent teaching and the potential to make significant contributions to service. This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements
- PhD in mathematics or a related field (must be completed by the start date).
- Evidence of excellent teaching.
- Potential to make significant contributions to service.
- Relocation and/or residence in Utah for the duration of employment.
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and hold a current temple recommend (for new employees who are members).
- Abide by the university’s Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
- Support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrine of the affiliated church.
