About The Position
This is a full-time professional continuing status track faculty position in Finance. The role involves significant academic expectations related to teaching and administrative contributions, depending on the needs of the department. The position requires expertise in financial economics to teach high-level courses across a broad array of financial topics. The successful candidate must demonstrate an interest in pursuing academic teaching in financial economics and will be expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of Brigham Young University.
Requirements
- Expertise in financial economics.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing academic teaching in financial economics.
- PhD in Finance or a related field strongly preferred.
- Must be able to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
- Must abide by the university’s Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
- If a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
- Must support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrine of the affiliated church.
