Part Time Math Tutor- Campbell
About The Position
Think Zone, part of TAL Education Group, provides K–8 students with engaging, personalized math instruction to build strong foundations, confidence, and problem-solving skills. The Math Tutor delivers one-on-one tutoring using the center’s curriculum, materials, and resources; no lesson planning is required. The role is designed for high school and college students, or people with a high school diploma, seeking part-time work and experience in teaching, communication, and leadership. The position is based at Think Zone Learning Center in Campbell, California, and is scheduled around school commitments. Tutors typically work 2–4 shifts per week, about 6–12 hours weekly, with opportunities for additional hours. Saturday availability is strongly preferred. The program dates are June 2, 2026 through June 5, 2027, and pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Think Zone describes opportunities to advance from Tutor to Lead Tutor, Assistant Manager, and Learning Center Manager.
Requirements
- Enjoy helping others learn.
- Have a strong foundation in math.
- Communicate clearly and patiently.
- Be responsible and dependable.
- Enjoy encouraging and motivating younger students.
- Be currently in high school and at least 16 years old, currently in college, or have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities
