About The Position
Pediatrix & Obstetrix is seeking a dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist for its consultative practice in North Central Florida. This outpatient-focused position offers the opportunity to provide expert maternal-fetal care in a growing region. The office-based practice has no deliveries and no overnight or weekend hospital call. Inpatient coverage is provided by the Pediatrix National TeleMFM program. Physicians have a clinic-based schedule of approximately 220 clinic days annually, with weekday morning hospital rounding as needed. The practice is supported by certified sonographers, nursing staff, medical assistants, and experienced practice management, and collaborates with Pediatrix-affiliated Neonatology services. The academic environment includes MFM rotations, participation in grand rounds, and research opportunities through Pediatrix. The role is suited to a physician committed to excellence in maternal-fetal medicine, collaborative care, consultation, and innovation.
Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert maternal-fetal medicine care in a consultative, outpatient-focused practice.
- Participate in weekday morning hospital rounding as needed.
- Collaborate with Pediatrix-affiliated Neonatology services and the practice's clinical support team.
- Participate in MFM rotations and grand rounds, with research opportunities available through Pediatrix.
