Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician
About The Position
Unified Women's Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join River and Coast Women's Care in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an opportunity to help establish and grow a new MFM service line supported by a strong referral base, dedicated clinical resources, and a hospital partnership. The practice has one primary location and provides dedicated advanced practice provider support for hospital rounds and patient management. There are no delivery requirements, though delivery opportunities are available for physicians who are interested. Call responsibilities are limited to the practice’s patients. The physician will have an opportunity to help build and shape the growing MFM program, with anticipated referrals from Unified Women's Healthcare affiliated practices throughout the region. An experienced sonographer provides fetal echocardiography and advanced maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound services. The role is based in the St. Johns and Jacksonville area of Northeast Florida, which offers access to beaches, outdoor recreation, schools, a regional economy, Jacksonville International Airport, historic St. Augustine, and cultural and recreational activities. Requirements
- Fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Florida.
- Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as an MFM physician; physicians completing fellowship training are also welcome.
- Interest in delivery opportunities, which are available but not required.
Responsibilities
- Help establish, develop, and shape a growing Maternal-Fetal Medicine program.
- Provide patient management and participate in hospital rounds, with dedicated APP support.
- Provide care to practice patients; call responsibilities are limited to those patients.
- Optionally participate in delivery opportunities; deliveries are not required.
