About The Position

The Materials Technician has detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for cleaning, inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and repairs of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation used by the department. The position is based at Cox Surgery Center in Springfield, Missouri, within Surgical Supply Services, and is scheduled for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply inventories.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Repair supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
