About The Position

The Materials Technician performs Supply Chain department functions that help maintain the proper quality and quantity of medical supplies for patient care. Duties include receiving incoming supplies, inventory control, maintaining PAR-level locations, filling departmental requisitions, delivering supplies, and completing clerical and ERP tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Travel is required never or rarely.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of storeroom, inventory supply systems, receiving, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks, check boxes for damage, sign for parcels, and deliver stock supplies to Central Supply and non-stock supplies to departments throughout the facility and off-site locations.
• Prepare parcels to be shipped by courier.
• Match packing slips with received supplies to verify quantities.
• Receive daily stock orders, restock shelves, rotate supplies, and monitor expiration dates.
• Count and restock PAR locations daily to maintain established levels.
• Fill and deliver departmental daily requisitions.
• Answer incoming calls and assist end users as needed.
• Maintain clean supply areas.
• Perform weekly cycle counts of Central Supply items.
