About The Position

The Materials Technician has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for cleaning, inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and repairs of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation used by the department. The position is based at Cox Surgery Center in Springfield, Missouri, and is scheduled for 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of supply inventories.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clean supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Repair supplies, equipment, and instrumentation.
