About The Position

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a Materials Handling Technician to support daily pharmacy production and the preparation of customized medications for animals. The role delivers ingredients, supplies, and equipment to pharmacy labs; reads batch tickets and distributes materials accurately; keeps production stocked; and tracks and organizes chemicals, ingredients, and lab supplies. The technician helps maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, follows pharmacy safety and quality standards, and communicates with teams to keep production moving efficiently. The position is onsite in Swedesboro, New Jersey, and is scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Compensation is $19 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain a New Jersey Pharmacy Technician License; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to follow formulas, procedures, and batch instructions.
• Comfort working with chemicals used in compounding.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stay focused in a production environment.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in a lab or production setting for the duration of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in manufacturing, production, or compounding is preferred.
