Requirements

  • Ability to influence, coach and lead others both directly and indirectly
  • High level proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, and Outlook. Capable of learning and utilizing multiple systems and databases.
  • Strong oral communication and ability to communicate with both internal and external parties involved in scrap, trash, recycling and storage.
  • Ability to perform job of employee’s under their supervision
  • Knowledge and application of the Lean Principles
  • Works with little supervision
  • Valid Drivers License and ability to operate powered industrial vehicles

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating activities throughout materials including but not limited to receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Leading and coaching MDI.
  • Creating, maintaining and helping ensure standard work is followed.
  • Tracking shortages, material flow issues, receiving/shipping issues and helping provide resolution.
  • Ensure safety of employee’s and adherence to EHS requirements
  • Lead MDI and other related materials activities and meetings
  • Leading and training employee’s, providing feedback and coaching
  • Ensuring material availability and accurate inventories
  • Ensures all transactions and logs are executed correctly and in a timely manor
  • Ensures all necessary documents are maintained and filed in accordance with compliance and retention polices
