2nd Shift Materials Team Leader

Requirements
- Ability to influence, coach and lead others both directly and indirectly
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, and Outlook
- Capable of learning and utilizing multiple systems and databases
- Strong oral communication and ability to communicate with both internal and external parties involved in scrap, trash, recycling and storage
- Ability to perform job of employees under their supervision
- Knowledge and application of the Lean Principles
- Works with little supervision
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of employees and adherence to EHS requirements
- Lead MDI and other related materials activities and meetings
- Lead and train employees, providing feedback and coaching
- Ensure material availability and accurate inventories
- Ensure all transactions and logs are executed correctly and in a timely manner
- Ensure all necessary documents are maintained and filed in accordance with compliance and retention policies
- Coordinate activities throughout materials including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory control
- Create, maintain, and help ensure standard work is followed
- Track shortages, material flow issues, receiving/shipping issues and help provide resolution
