About The Position

The Materials Management Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day supervision of an assigned team performing operational tasks in a food manufacturing environment. The supervisor communicates expectations, builds accountability, and delivers results in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role ensures employees complete tasks in accordance with applicable company and legislative food safety and food quality requirements.

The position supports corporate strategy by helping develop team and individual goals, objectives, operational standards, and expectations for safety, quality, and productivity. It builds collaborative partnerships within departments, supports process improvement and change, fosters employee learning and development, and executes management direction in line with business priorities.

The schedule is weekend nights, Friday through Monday, with an approximate 5:00 PM start and 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• Previous indirect experience with effective labor planning and scheduling.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in line operation and manufacturing practices is strongly preferred.
• Previous leadership experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing team and individual goals, objectives, operational standards, and expectations for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Build collaborative partnerships within departmental lines to achieve departmental and team results.
• Advocate for change and support continued process improvement by sharing ideas and encouraging new approaches to day-to-day opportunities and business issues.
• Supervise an assigned work group and foster a culture of continued learning and development.
• Drive individual accountability and ownership of results, including direct-report accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Understand business processes and execute direction according to business strategy and priorities under management guidance.
• Ensure employees perform tasks in accordance with company and legislative food safety and food quality requirements.
