Materials Inventory Control Staff

About The Position
The Materials Inventory Control Staff member is responsible for overall inventory accuracy and implementing controls to achieve plant performance. The role conducts cycle counts, investigates inventory discrepancies, updates records in the ERP system, supports scheduled physical inventories, and performs other inventory-related duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent math skills.
- Self-directed and task-oriented.
- Willingness to work all shifts and overtime.
- Knowledge of computer software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good working knowledge of spreadsheets.
Nice To Haves
- Two-year college degree in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts using the cycle count program.
- Conduct root cause analysis when there is a discrepancy.
- Make necessary adjustments in the ERP system based on cycle counts.
- Participate in physical inventory as scheduled at Astemo.
- Process scrap tickets and product returns.
- Update the POUS Racks as needed for new models.
- Conduct chemical counts weekly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
