The Inventory Control Clerk maintains and controls warehouse inventory. The role includes loading and packaging items, packing goods for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method, and receiving and inspecting goods while verifying them against shipment records. The clerk reads work orders to identify and prepare materials for assembly, sorts and stores items according to established sequences, ensures orders are completed, relocates orders to appropriate areas, and records inventory movements using a scanner or computer program. The role applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. Work is generally semi-routine and follows established procedures, with instructions needed for new assignments and occasional deviations from accepted practice. The clerk works independently on assigned tasks and refers problems or difficulties to a supervisor. The position typically requires 1–3 years of related experience and a high school degree. The employee must comply with TTM export-control policies and applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements. This includes recognizing restricted ITAR products and foreign-person visitors, following facility visitor authorization procedures, understanding export requirements for shipments leaving the United States, and managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
