About The Position

Koorsen is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for its Fort Wayne, Indiana branch. This on-site role manages branch parts and inventory, enters purchase order details into internal databases, monitors stock and replenishes as needed, and receives, processes, and tracks shipments to help ensure timely delivery. The employee interacts professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers, follows safety practices and company policies and core values, and remains open to continual learning. Other duties may be assigned by management. The stated pay range is $19–$25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. The hiring process includes an interview, I-9 verification and E-Verify, background checks, and a urinalysis test for substance abuse if an offer is made.

Requirements

Shipping and receiving experience.
Inventory control and cycle-counting experience.
Pass drug and background screenings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Manage parts and inventory in a branch.
Enter purchase order details, including vendors, quantities, and prices, into internal databases.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
