About The Position

ASCO Equipment is hiring a full-time, on-site Material Handling Sales Representative for its Little Elm, Texas market. The representative builds customer relationships, meets customers’ equipment needs, and offers additional services. The role calls for an ambitious self-starter who provides solutions in demanding circumstances and proactively increases revenue through exceptional customer service. The representative also seeks new markets and optimizes opportunities to increase profitability in alignment with ASCO’s growth plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills.
• Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Solid computer skills and knowledge of general business software and the G-suite platform.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to move about an office or warehouse setting, occasionally traverse stairs, and occasionally move or transport industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Establish new business opportunities through sales calls within the territory.
• Manage pre-planning, post-call notes, and follow-up actions using a CRM tool.
• Educate customers about material handling equipment through product presentations and demonstrations.
• Resolve problems and follow through to address customer needs.
• Generate objective-based proposals for material handling solutions.
• Follow safety rules and complete required safety training.
• Represent ASCO positively and professionally.
