About The Position

Intervala is seeking a Shipping Material Handler to support its electronics manufacturing operation. The role prepares, packages, and ships finished products while maintaining inventory accuracy, completing shipping documentation, and helping ensure deliveries are accurate and on time. The position is suited to someone who enjoys active, hands-on work and can stay organized and accurate in a fast-paced environment.

The Shipping Material Handler picks and verifies finished products, prepares packages and shipping documents, coordinates shipments and carrier pickups, and processes shipping transactions in the inventory management system. The role also supports inventory counts, stages shipments, and keeps the shipping area clean, organized, and safe while following company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or related experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick, verify, package, and prepare finished products for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
• Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and required shipping documentation.
• Verify shipment accuracy against work orders, customer orders, and packing instructions.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as needed.
• Process shipping transactions in the inventory management system to maintain accurate inventory.
• Ensure products are packaged, labeled, and handled appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
• Organize and stage outgoing shipments for efficient loading and delivery.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines while meeting shipping deadlines.
