About The Position

The Material Handler 1 Shipping/Packaging prepares, packages, and ships finished products for Intervala’s electronics manufacturing operation. The role ensures shipment accuracy, inventory accuracy, complete documentation, and on-time delivery. It involves coordinating with carriers, organizing outgoing shipments, and following company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or related experience.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to shipping accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Pick, verify, package, and prepare finished products for shipment according to customer and company requirements.
Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and required shipping documentation.
Verify shipment accuracy against work orders, customer orders, and packing instructions.
Coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as needed.
Process shipping transactions in the inventory management system to maintain accurate inventory.
Package, label, and handle products to prevent damage during transit.
Organize and stage outgoing shipments for efficient loading and delivery.
Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines while meeting shipping deadlines.
