About The Position
Mersen is a global expert in electrical specialties and advanced materials for high-tech industries. The company operates in 33 countries, with 50 industrial sites and 18 R&D centres, developing custom solutions and supplying products for sectors including wind power, solar power, electronics, electric vehicles, aeronautics, and space. The Shipping/Packaging role prepares and packages outgoing products according to client orders and specific instructions, prepares shipping documentation, loads lorries or containers, receives finished goods, and records inventory movements. The role is assessed against delivery schedules, documentation compliance, reported anomalies, and stock accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and package outgoing products according to client orders and any specific instructions.
- Prepare the necessary shipping documentation.
- Load lorries or containers according to schedule and client requirements.
- Report any anomalies encountered.
- Receive finished goods and enter them into the computer system, from unloading through stocking.
- Record outgoing stock and create inventories.
