About The Position

Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near a plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction that may include shipping and/or receiving. The role involves opening containers using hand tools; counting and weighing materials and recording information; loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; and loading or unloading materials into or from trucks by hand. The Material Handler conveys materials using devices such as wheelbarrows, hand trucks, forklifts, electric dollies, or elevators; stacks or assembles materials; and assists machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist. The position is onsite, full-time, with a 4/10 first-shift work schedule. Specialized Atlas training is required: ESD - Class Zero and FOD. The role is not safety-sensitive, does not require access to ECI information, and does not require a security clearance. Per diem and expenses are not provided. There is an opportunity for FTE hire.
