About The Position

Ferrellgas is seeking a full-time Material Handler to work primarily outdoors on the dock. The role involves inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for delivery drivers and customers. This hands-on, physically demanding position supports safe operations and helps keep the business running smoothly. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock when applicable.
• Scrape and paint tanks and cylinders as needed to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional in appearance.
• Answer customer questions and share product and service information.
