Material Handler - 2nd Shift - $24.30/hr + $1.00 Shift Premium
About The Position
The Material Handler maintains adequate raw material inventory in production areas and supports material flow and production operations. The role involves requesting and assigning warehouse product to designated production areas, verifying labels and counts, and transporting materials to their storage locations. The Material Handler also supports production setups, changeovers, lot closures, and line clearances, and operates material-handling tools and equipment. The position is onsite and scheduled Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with overtime as needed by the business. Compensation is $24.30 per hour plus a $1.00 hourly shift premium; the position is also bonus eligible and includes benefits.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in percentages, decimals, accuracy, and documentation by passing a written assessment.
- Lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver materials weighing up to 110 lbs.
- Maintain attendance in accordance with the work schedule and meet overtime requirements as needed.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manufacturing experience or 1 year of related work experience.
Responsibilities
