About The Position
The Maintenance Mechanic provides manufacturing support by maintaining highly automated equipment. The role emphasizes critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The company uses automation and robotics as part of its maintenance foundation. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The stated pay is $35.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift premium. Overtime opportunities are available, and the role may require overtime. Custom Building Products manufactures stone and tile installation and beautification products and operates 15 manufacturing and distribution facilities in North America. Requirements
- At least two years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance competencies.
- Experience with HMI systems.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and industrial controls skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatics.
- Ability to work assigned hours, including overtime.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, warnings, and labels in English effectively.
- Computer literacy and ability to use all MS Office programs.
- Safety-first attitude and dependability as a hard-working team player.
- Must have own tools.
- Qualified applicants may be asked to complete a hands-on electrical troubleshooting practical exercise during the interview process.
