About The Position

The Material Handler moves materials, supplies, and finished goods manually or with a hand truck to designated locations within the facility or onto trucks. The role supports warehouse operations by handling products safely, efficiently, and accurately, and may provide general housekeeping support to help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

The position includes handling freight and customer orders, supporting inventory accuracy, and performing cleaning and sanitation duties as needed. The stated base hourly rate is $17.25. The employer considers applicants’ qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining starting pay. Responsibilities

• Perform material handling duties manually or using a hand truck within the facility.
• Load finished products onto pallets or hand trucks as required.
• Stack skids or pallets in assigned storage or staging areas.
• Load and unload freight efficiently, safely, and accurately.
• Pick and pack customer orders, assembling merchandise for shipment.
• Apply shipment labels according to company and customer requirements.
• Process orders by picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations.
• Verify freight accuracy and check for damage or infestation.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed.
• Use RF scanning devices to support accurate inventory management.
• Provide cleaning and sanitation services as needed, including sweeping floors, cleaning office areas, and disposing of trash in designated containers or locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area by following housekeeping and safety standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities required by the role and determined by management.
