About The Position

AUTOKINITON is hiring a full-time, hourly Material Handler for its Operations team at its Auburn, Indiana location. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and involves moving materials around the plant, including driving a forklift outside throughout the year. The schedule is a third shift from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with daily and weekend overtime. Starting wages are $22 per hour, including the shift premium. Requirements

Forklift experience; production or manufacturing setting experience is preferred. Applicants with some forklift experience are encouraged to apply, and the company provides necessary training and certifications.
Use proper PPE when changing LP tanks.

Responsibilities

Move materials inside and outside the plant as required.
Drive a forklift outside throughout the year.
Ensure parts and containers are placed at work stations as required.
Empty trash for appropriate disposal.
Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Monitor and contribute to continuous improvement.
Process hourly and daily paperwork as required.
Check fluid levels, change LP tanks using proper PPE, and charge truck batteries according to policy.
