About The Position

As a Material Handler at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions to customers by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. The role involves using material handling equipment and carrying out tasks such as packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, verifying orders, and labeling products. You will follow the 7S program, maintain a clean work environment, and work safely to protect yourself and your team. The shift is Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
• Be able to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
• Be able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
• Be able to handle or manage tools or equipment.
• Be able to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
