About The Position
This position is responsible for completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources. It involves collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and carrying out tasks. The role also includes communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback. A key responsibility is managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment, such as pallet jacks. This includes identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, utilizing warehouse management system terminals, scales, and scanners, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, keeping the work area organized, and maintaining freight flow by stacking and moving empty pallets. Additionally, the position involves monitoring freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.

Responsibilities

- Keeps work area organized.
- Maintains freight flow by stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack and/or powered equipment.
- Monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
