About The Position

This position is responsible for completing work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources. It involves managing freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment, identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, and utilizing warehouse management system, terminal scales, and scanners. The role also requires maintaining records, logs, and forms, complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and keeping the work area organized. Additionally, the Material Handler monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance.
