About The Position
The Material Handler facilitates the movement of materials to production teams. This on-site role is part of the Supply Chain Team at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis, Indiana, and reports to the Materials Logistics Supervisor. The position works Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The role involves moving materials throughout the manufacturing facility and learning to incorporate the Danaher Business System into daily operations. The Material Handler will be part of a highly engaged material handling team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of prior manufacturing or materials distribution experience.
- Organizationally structured and able to communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Kanban to replenish materials.
- Experience using Oracle or ERP systems to execute timely and accurate material transactions.
