About The Position

The Material Handler moves product and components to and from packaging lines and loads and unloads trucks. The role keeps production lines supplied with the correct components for continuous operation, operates and maintains stretch wrappers and other equipment, and safely operates and maintains forklifts. The Material Handler maintains proper product documentation and identification, reports problems and unacceptable quality to the lead operator, fills in on the line as needed, trains team members, and performs other tasks as directed by the lead or supervisor. The position requires following all safety, FDA, GMP, and GDP requirements. Success includes supplying lines with proper components, correctly wrapping finished-product skids, and ensuring outgoing product is loaded and documented properly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift driving skills.
• Understanding of the resource needs list.
• Ability to function in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Move product and components to and from packaging lines.

• Supply packaging lines with the proper components to support continuous operation.
• Operate and maintain stretch wrappers and other equipment.
• Safely operate and maintain forklifts.
