About The Position

Ultra Clean Technology (UCT) is seeking a Material Handler III to join its team in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role supports material handling and distribution operations in the semiconductor industry, with an emphasis on safety, accuracy, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. The Material Handler III performs Material Handler I and II duties at an advanced level, leads and coaches small teams, coordinates with internal and external departments, and supports inventory, reporting, and shipping processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Advanced proficiency in Material Handler I and II responsibilities.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
Knowledge of 5S principles and ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
Skill using ERP systems for inventory management and complex form completion.
Ability to prepare shipping documentation and track freight using carrier software.
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Commitment to safety and operational efficiency in material handling activities.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification, as required.
Two to four years of experience related to computer and ERP systems or bar-coded software is highly desired.
Two to four years of experience in any type of material distribution environment is desired.

Responsibilities

Perform material handling tasks safely and accurately, adapting to workload priorities.
Demonstrate proficiency in Material Handler I and II responsibilities.
Lead small teams to accomplish tasks effectively, exercising independent judgment.
Train and coach team members on written processes and performance improvement.
Identify areas for 5S improvement and engage team members in implementation.
Create and manipulate Excel files for operational reporting and data analysis.
Interface with internal and external departments to share data and coordinate activities.
Order supplies and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems, including the Cycle Count Module.
Complete commercial invoices and SED documentation using export control information.
Track freight and prepare bills of lading using carrier-related software.
Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scales safely and effectively.
Perform repetitive motion tasks, including twisting and bending, as required.
