About The Position

The Material Handler II completes material handling functions to support facility operations, including put-away, replenishment, order selection, loading, cycle counting, and other assigned duties. The role is responsible for helping meet daily safety, quality, and performance goals. The position is located at 1911 Satellite Blvd, Buford, Georgia 30518.

Requirements

• Two to four years of related work experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Forklift operator certification or authorization; ability to operate all types of material handling equipment in the facility.
• Working knowledge of the corporate safety program and emergency preparedness plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions using common sense.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to place merchandise in its assigned location as soon as possible.
• Select and load orders, verify SKUs against products, and complete transactions using the radio frequency process.
• Replenish shipping-area pick lines.
• Support cycle-count responsibilities and perform assigned rework and return-goods duties.
• Process lost product and damages nightly and verify quantities in system transactions.
• Collaborate with other associates and take on additional duties and projects as needed with a positive attitude.
