About The Position

The Material Handler II handles returned goods and inbound shipments, maintains the flow and records of inventory, and prepares products and documentation for shipping. The role operates manual or powered material-handling equipment and contributes to process improvement and lean Kaizen activities. Work is performed in a warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic calculations.
• Navigate computer programs accurately.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Stand, walk, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Have a high level of hand-eye coordination while operating a forklift.
• Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience; otherwise, must complete training in forklift safety, rules, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack, and process returned goods; verify and receive inbound shipments.
• Store, pick, count, verify, and stock raw materials and finished goods.
• Enter data for inventory-related activities and maintain records tracking material flow.
• Operate manual or powered material-handling equipment, such as a forklift.
• Prepare products and shipping documents, ensuring accurate transactions to end users.
• Participate in process improvement and lean Kaizen activities.
• Work on special projects as they arise.
