Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. Requirements

  • Requires a High School education and a minimum of 1 years of related experience.
  • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic understanding of PC applications including Oracle and iStar.
  • Must be able to pass BAE drivers test and ability to fulfill DOT requirements to drive the company truck.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the internal flow of raw material and in process manufactured hardware to support manufacturing schedules and Operations commitments on engineering and production programs.
  • Support the manufacturing process by performing inventory management and the associated material support and documentation maintenance activities.
  • Prepares and verifies assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list.
  • Selects stock using first in-first out system, checks and records solder ability date, vendor date code (when required) and quantity issued.
  • Interfaces with materials and production personnel to resolve materials shortages.
  • Responds to requests for materials needed for engineering or production programs, works from computerized reports.
  • Ensures that materials are properly packaged or repackaged per required special handling specifications, when necessary, in electrostatic bags or as otherwise specified.
  • Labels and stocks in specified bins or fills back-order requirements, both for the assembly floor or kits in process.
  • Delivers completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material to designated areas and if required, releases to work-in-process (WIP).
  • Performs cycle count audits and physical inventories.
  • Audits inventory records for accuracy on a regular basis.
  • Checks actual stock against amounts recorded.
  • Ensures that all required materials are properly identified with safety information and handling labels in conformance with Company and OSHA guidelines.
  • Must be able to drive a company truck.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
