About The Position

The Materials Handler II plays a key role in supporting production and operational success by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, tracking, and delivery of materials throughout the facility. This position maintains inventory accuracy, performs inventory transactions, fulfills material requests, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support efficient material flow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Knowledge of ESD practices and procedures in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail with the ability to accurately count and maintain inventory.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
Strong teamwork and internal customer service orientation.
3-5 years of experience in materials handling, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing.
Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software.
Experience conducting cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Manage the receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to support operational and production needs.
Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks, to transport materials between locations as required.
Receive, inspect, stock, and replenish materials to ensure inventory accuracy and production readiness.
Prepare and assemble material kits for production, service repair activities, and customer orders.
Conduct daily cycle counts, record inventory transactions, and assist in researching and resolving inventory variances.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the security, accountability, and proper control of materials and finished goods.
Partner with Planners, Buyers, Production personnel, and other cross-functional teams to communicate material shortages, discrepancies, or process issues.
Provide timely, professional support to internal customers by fulfilling material requests and resolving inquiries.
Follow established safety, quality, and inventory control procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
