About The Position

Litehouse Foods is hiring a Material Handler II to work at its Lowell facility. Litehouse is a 100% employee-owned food manufacturing company producing refrigerated salad dressings, dips, sauces, herbs, and cheese at facilities in the United States. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to move and handle materials, fulfilling orders, receiving shipments, maintaining inventory records, and following food safety, quality, and workplace organization standards. The shift is 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with a $1.50-per-hour second-shift differential. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Applicants must pass a background check; the company does not offer sponsorship.

Requirements

Forklift experience is preferred; certification will be provided if needed.
Comfort working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and accurately and safely receive vendor shipments.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Follow proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
