About The Position

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator position is responsible for operating a forklift to help load and unload trucks, haul finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing line and pull orders when necessary. This position works in a clean, consistent and safety conscious environment. Rockline Industries is a family-owned, global company whose products support communities across homes, hospitals, schools, and workplaces. This position is designated as a Safety-Sensitive position, meaning the associate’s inability or impaired ability to perform their job-related tasks could result in a direct threat to the associate’s safety or the safety of others. This position is also considered Product Security Sensitive due to contact or influence over outbound shipments, requiring adherence to security standards and procedures to guard against unmanifested cargo.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, grab and twist.
• Ability to get on and off your forklift consistently & safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to help load and unload trucks.
• Haul finished goods and raw materials to and from the manufacturing line.
• Pull orders when necessary.
• Work in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
• Accurately complete required documentation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes as needed.
• Follow PPE & GMP guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Attend dock meetings for team & company communications.
