About The Position

A qualified Material Handler/Forklift Operator will be able to perform the following tasks: Move and wrap material from bindery and press-room and stack them to assigned places. Locate material on shipping manifest to load unto outgoing trailers. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies. Transport raw materials to production department. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and report any issues to manager. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will be able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours and work weekends as well on an as needed basis
• Previous experience as a forklift operator
• Safety and Quality minded
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision and be an individual contributor
• Must be reliable and consistently at work and on time
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Must have positive and effective communication with other team members
