About The Position

WSI is seeking Material Handlers/Forklift Operators for a new operation in Lancaster, Texas. The position operates material-handling equipment to receive, store, process orders, and ship materials. The role also performs inspections and physical inventories to support accurate material receipt, shipment, and inventory control. The listed duties are the major duties and are not necessarily the only duties performed.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 55 pounds.
Reliable and safety-minded, with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Forklift certified or able to obtain certification.
Able to operate material-handling equipment.
Willing and eager to learn.
Final candidates must have a solid work history and pass a pre-employment background check and post-offer drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

Operate material-handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, and ship material.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify quantities, check for apparent damage, and confirm required documentation is available.
Identify incoming and outgoing material shipments.
Perform physical material inventories and document the receipt, shipment, and control of sample inventories.
