About The Position
The Material Handler 2 is responsible for receiving, transferring, and delivering extruded aluminum and other materials throughout the facility, as well as inspecting materials for quality. The role requires operating pallet jacks, verifying product labels and locations, handling material documentation, maintaining work areas, and working collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of forklift experience.
- At least one year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility.
- Ability to learn the material handling documentation process.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate information regarding paperwork and labels.
- Ability to use a hand pallet jack and motorized pallet jack to move material.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize requirements for the work day.
- Ability to follow verbal and basic written instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexible work availability to work off shift or overtime as required.
- Ability to adapt to constant change.
Responsibilities
