About The Position

Flex is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Dallas, Texas, to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials among departments so production schedules and deadlines are met. The role reports to the Planning Supervisor and works with buyers, planners, vendors, purchasing, engineering, and internal teams to address material needs, deliveries, and shortages. The stated shift is Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into an independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which focuses on critical digital infrastructure and end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• At least 1 year of experience in planning, customer service, production, inventory, logistics, or expediting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to type 120 WPM.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers and planners to ensure production's material needs are met.
• Follow up with vendors and buyers about material lead times, obtain tracking information, and coordinate delivery dates as needed.
• Follow up on items showing short and work with purchasing and engineering to resolve the issue.
• Update material status and estimated arrival times in the ERP system.
• Notify appropriate internal teams, including project managers and production managers, about issues and material shortages that could affect production.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
