About The Position

As a Match Bench Assembler at Caterpillar Pontiac, you will help improve process efficiency by sorting engine components and checking them for defects. The role performs varied manual and/or machine-based repetitive functions to process parts, materials, equipment, and supplies through manufacturing stages and prepare components for shipment. This position is supplemental, with 36 or more hours per week; supplemental positions do not include holiday pay and have limited benefits. Work is offered on either the second or third shift. Training takes place on first shift, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

At least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing or engine maintenance role.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to follow written instructions, such as schematics, standard work, and/or blueprints.
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
