About The Position

Providence is hiring associate-level and fully licensed counselors for emergency psychiatric triage at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The therapist works collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to provide assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and ongoing behavioral health support. The role serves both pediatric and adult patients.

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, sociology or another equivalent social science, or marriage and family counseling.
• Upon hire, Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License or Washington Marriage and Family Therapist Associate License.
• Six months of experience working in crisis services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of hospital or emergency department experience.
