About The Position

Providence is hiring associate-level and fully licensed Masters-Level Therapists or Family Therapists for emergency psychiatric triage at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The role serves both pediatric and adult patients and involves working collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to provide assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and ongoing behavioral health support. The position is based at Sacred Heart, a regional medical center and referral center serving the Inland Northwest.

The posting describes opportunities for candidates holding Washington associate or full professional licenses in mental health counseling or marriage and family therapy. Requirements

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, another equivalent social science, or marriage and family counseling.
• For associate-level candidates: upon hire, a Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License or Washington Marriage and Family Therapist Associate License.
• For licensed candidates: upon hire, a Washington Mental Health Counselor License or Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License.
• Associate-level candidates: six months of experience working in crisis services.
• Licensed candidates: two years of clinical behavioral healthcare experience and six months working in crisis services.
