About The Position

Providence is hiring associate-level and fully licensed Masters-Level Therapists or Family Therapists for emergency psychiatric triage at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington. The role serves pediatric and adult patients and works collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to provide assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and ongoing behavioral health support. Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital is a major regional medical center serving the Inland Northwest, with specialized trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and psychiatric services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, another equivalent Social Science field, or Marriage and Family Counseling.
• Upon hire, a Washington Mental Health Counselor License or Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License is required.
• Two years of clinical behavioral healthcare experience.
• Six months of experience working in crisis services.

• One year of psychiatric experience.
