About The Position
Friendship Automotive is seeking a Master Technician or Experienced Technician to join the team at Friendship Hyundai of Bristol. The company operates in four states, eight cities, and 17 locations, and describes opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate has at least two years of technician experience. Certifications are preferred, though on-the-job training will be strongly considered. The technician diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicles, including completing warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. The role requires safe vehicle operation for testing, accurate service-time estimates, effective use of tools and service equipment, communication with Assistant Service Managers, and adherence to dealership safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of technician experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and service specifications.
- Ability to work independently and well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Hyundai Master Technician certification.
- Other certifications; on-the-job training will also be strongly considered.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive vehicles to test components and systems.
- Accurately estimate the time needed for service.
- Use tools and service equipment properly to diagnose and maintain vehicles.
- Efficiently perform work specified on Repair Orders.
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
- Communicate issues or additional needs to Assistant Service Managers.
- Follow dealership procedures for safety and quality standards.
