About The Position

This is a teaching role at La Petite Academy focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports children’s development, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role also includes mentoring fellow teachers and engaging in physical activities with children indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• CDA or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
