About The Position
The Assistant Teacher helps provide daily care for children at a child care center, following licensing guidelines and company standards. The role supports a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized, and involves engaging with children, observing and assessing their development, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. The position includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience. The listed Assistant Teacher pay range is $14.00–$14.55. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. Limited medical coverage is offered for part-time workers. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
