About The Position

La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role focuses on preschool children’s development and includes creating interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow Teachers, managing the classroom, implementing curriculum, following licensing guidelines and company standards, and building relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
